Chris Syntichakis

Chris is a long-term chronic kidney disease patient. His personal journey with healthcare, combined with his passion for technology, has motivated him to become an active public involvement contributor. As somebody with a visual impairment, Chris brings an understanding of the challenges and access needs of partially sighted people. Chris also brings a unique multicultural understanding from his years of sharing his life between Greece and Turkey.

Chris has been engaged with patient and public involvement activity since 2022. His current involvement focuses on ensuring the patient voice is included in the development of new technologies.

Chris’ professional background is in IT programming and has he has a special interest in computing and electronics.
