Work with us
We collaborate with technology developers (innovators) to accelerate the development of HealthTech by generating evidence to support the future acceptance of their technology. More information about the types of support we offer is available on Our services page.
In 2026, we launched an open call for collaborative project proposals. The aim of this process is to help us identify opportunities to work in partnership with innovators to advance their technologies.
As part of the open call process, we have preliminary discussions with innovators who have submitted proposals to understand the status of their innovation and the support being sought. Please note we are unable to offer support to HealthTech that is outside of our remit.
We encourage innovators who are interested in working with us to submit a collaborative project proposal. More information about the current call for collaborative project proposals, including relevant dates and how to register for the upcoming webinar, is available on the Call for projects page. The diagram and hyperlinked text below outlines the process.

Call for collaborative project proposals
Webinar
Following the announcement of the call for projects, we will hold a webinar with information about our services, how to submit a project proposal and what to expect from a collaboration.
The webinar includes a live Q&A where our team will answer questions directly from innovators before they submit a proposal.
Project proposal form
Innovators can submit a project proposal form outlining their technology and aims of a collaboration. We will share the project proposal form template after the webinar on our Resource library webpage.
Initial review
Proposals are checked to ensure they are within our remit, align with our research themes and services. Innovators that progress through this stage are invited to join our presentation meeting.
We will share the date of the presentation meeting date on the Call for projects page when the call opens.
Presentation meeting
Innovators join the presentation meeting to discuss their technology and proposal with our team. During the meeting, we will explore the aims of the project, clinical need, technical innovation and public acceptability, accessibility and inclusion.
Next steps
Proposals that lead to a collaboration will join a ‘kick-off’ meeting to confirm the next steps of the project including its objectives, timelines and proposed work packages.
More information about this process is available in our Guidance on the call for proposals.
