Shaun Bowden

Shaun was diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia, CLL (a type of blood cancer), in the early 2000s and has been on active monitoring ever since. He has been involved in various patient and public involvement activities with several organisations.

He has close relatives with long term medical conditions and has been an active supporter and advocate for some time. He strongly believes in ensuring patient voices are heard and that communications with patients are optimised.

Shaun studied science at university and spent most of his career working in manufacturing industry. He is fascinated by the rapid progress that is being made in developing healthcare technology-based solutions, and is passionate about ensuring the needs of patients are built into this process.
